For Art Week 2010 at UMBC, Co-chairs Jenna Ullrich and Tazuko Sugajima have opted to do a complete series of “artist interpretations” of the logo that Jenna and I collaborated on last year. There are handdrawn patterns, puffy paint, sequins, tiny headless people, and more. I am considering different textures to photograph through a stencil I’ve cut, and taking quick snapshots on my cellphone.
